All is going as well as can be expected here on the ranch. I am still trying to get use to the isolation. It is 12 miles to the closest grocery store, or at least a real one.
The nieghbors are very nice what little I see of them. With the exeption of all the wild animals, skunks, long horns, possoms, armidillos, deer, snakes, squirls and birds galore.
I see more of the animals than peaple at any time, with the exeption of Ron and Chris.
I do have a freind Jon, that comes by and spends time with me. It is great to have the company and companionship when he is not too busy himself.
The weather is starting to cool down, finally thank god. The summer heat was a real bear. We have had several good thunder storms come through in the last couple of weeks. I am telling you the lightning and thunder out here is a wonder by itself.
It will really Knock your boots off if you know what I mean.
